International Friendly : Algeria beats Mauritania 3-1

Jan. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Algeria defeated Mauritania by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a friendly match on Saturday.

Mauritania had started off well by taking the lead in the 19th minute with a goal by El Hacen Moctar on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Algerians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Hanni Sofiane '53 on penalty, Bounedjah Baghdad '72 and Bentaleb Nabil '90).
