International Friendly : Burkina Faso beats Mali 2-1

Jan. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Burkina Faso defeated Mali by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a friendly match on Saturday.

Burkina Faso dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Zongo Jonathan in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Burkinabés further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Traore Alain in the 60th minute.
