International Friendly : Nigeria beats Argentina 4-2

Nov. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Nigeria defeated Argentina by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 1-2), in a friendly match on Tuesday.

Iwobi Alex scored dual goals

Argentina had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Banega Ever ('28) and Aguero Sergio ('36), while Nigeria only scored once Iheanacho Kelechi ('44). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Nigerians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Iwobi Alex '52, '73 and Idowu Bryan '54).
