Honduras beats Costa Rica to advance to Gold Cup semifinals
BALTIMORE, Jul. 21, 2013 (AMP) — USA 2013 : Honduras reached the semifinals of the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup with a 1-0 win against Costa Rica (halftime: 0-0) on Sunday night at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Honduran midfielder Andy Najar in the 49th minute.
