Panama beats Mexico to reach Gold Cup final
ARLINGTON, Jul. 24, 2013 (AMP) — USA 2013 : Panama reached the CONCACAF Gold Cup final for the second time in their history with a 2-1 win against Mexico (halftime: 1-1) on Wednesday night at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
B. Pérez opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Mexico catch up in the 26th minute thanks to Montes. 1-1 at half time. The Panamanians eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by R. Torres in the 61st minute.
