USA beats Panama 1-0 to win 2013 Gold Cup
CHICAGO, Jul. 28, 2013 (AMP) — USA 2013 : The United States claimed a fifth CONCACAF Gold Cup crown with a 1-0 win against Panama (halftime: 0-0) in the final on Sunday afternoon at the Soldier Field in Chicago.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by American midfielder Brek Shea in the 69th minute.
