Jamaica beats USA to reach Gold Cup final
ATLANTA, Jul. 22, 2015 (AMP) — USA 2015 : Jamaica reached the CONCACAF Gold Cup final for the very first time in their history with a 2-1 win against the United States (halftime: 2-0) on Wednesday night at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Jamaica dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mattocks ('30) and Barnes ('35). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Jamaicans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
