ABU DHABI, Apr. 4, 1982 (AMP) — United Arab Emirates 1982 : Qatar defeated Kuwait by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Sunday at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Kuwait won the 6th edition of the Gulf Cup, their fifth title in history.
