MANAMA, Nov. 2, 1998 (AMP) — Bahrain 1998 : Kuwait defeated Qatar by a big score of 6-2 (halftime: 2-1), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Monday at the Bahrain National Stadium in Manama.
The result put the Kuwaiti second in the group with 3 points. Qatar is bottom with no points. In their next game, Kuwait will meet Bahrain at the Bahrain National Stadium on November 6, while Qatar will face the United Arab Emirates.
