MANAMA, Nov. 8, 1998 (AMP) — Bahrain 1998 : Saudi Arabia defeated the United Arab Emirates by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Sunday at the Bahrain National Stadium in Manama.
The result put the Saudi top of the group with 10 points. UAE is second with 7 points. In their last game, Saudi Arabia will meet Qatar at the Bahrain National Stadium on November 11, while the United Arab Emirates will face Kuwait.
