MANAMA, Nov. 12, 1998 (AMP) — Bahrain 1998 : Kuwait defeated the United Arab Emirates by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Thursday at the Bahrain National Stadium in Manama. Kuwait won the 14th edition of the Gulf Cup, their ninth title in history, the United Arab Emirates finished third.
