RIYADH, Jan. 16, 2002 (AMP) — Saudi Arabia 2002 : Saudi Arabia tied 1-1 with Kuwait (halftime: 1-0), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Wednesday at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.

The result left both teams on top of the group with one point. In their next game, Kuwait will meet Oman at the King Fahd International Stadium on January 19, while Saudi Arabia will face Bahrain.
