RIYADH, Jan. 17, 2002 (AMP) — Saudi Arabia 2002 : The United Arab Emirates defeated Oman by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Thursday at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
The result put the Emirati top of the group with 3 points. In their next game, the United Arab Emirates will meet group leaders Qatar at the King Fahd International Stadium on January 20, while Oman will face Kuwait.
