RIYADH, Jan. 20, 2002 (AMP) — Saudi Arabia 2002 : Saudi Arabia defeated Bahrain by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Sunday at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.

The result put the Saudi second in the group with 4 points. Bahrain is bottom with no points. In their next game, Saudi Arabia will meet the United Arab Emirates at the King Fahd International Stadium on January 24, while Bahrain will face Kuwait.
