RIYADH, Jan. 30, 2002 (AMP) — Saudi Arabia 2002 : Saudi Arabia defeated Qatar by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Wednesday at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia won the 15th edition of the Gulf Cup, their second title in history, Qatar finished second.
