KUWAIT CITY, Jan. 8, 2004 (AMP) — Kuwait 2003 : Qatar defeated Kuwait by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Thursday at the Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium in Kuwait City.

The result put the Qatari third in the group with 9 points. Kuwait is fourth with 5 points. In their last game, Qatar will meet Oman at the Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium on January 11, while Kuwait will face Bahrain.
