KUWAIT CITY, Jan. 8, 2004 (AMP) — Kuwait 2003 : Saudi Arabia defeated Yemen by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Gulf Cup final round game (Tournament) on Thursday at the Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium in Kuwait City. Saudi Arabia won the 16th edition of the Gulf Cup, their third title in history.
The result put the Saudi top of the group with 14 points. Yemen is bottom with one point.
