CARLISLE, Aug. 11, 2014 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Derby County defeated Carlisle United by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the League Cup first round on Monday night.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Hendrick ('62) and Martin ('90).
