League Cup 2014-15 : Crewe beats Barnsley 2-0 to qualify for next round

BARNSLEY, Aug. 12, 2014 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Crewe Alexandra defeated Barnsley by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.

Crewe Alexandra dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Waters in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Railwaymen further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Tootle with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
