NEWCASTLE, Aug. 12, 2014 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Bournemouth defeated Exeter City by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night at St James' Park in Newcastle.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Bennett ('55) and Gosling ('74).
