League Cup 2014-15 : MK Dons beats AFC Wimbledon 3-1 to qualify for next round

MILTON KEYNES, Aug. 12, 2014 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Milton Keynes Dons defeated AFC Wimbledon by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.

Milton Keynes Dons dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by McFadzean in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Powell '49 and Afobe '76).
