League Cup 2014-15 : Preston beats Rochdale 2-0 to qualify for next round

ROCHDALE, Aug. 12, 2014 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Preston defeated Rochdale by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.

Preston dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Little in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Lilywhites further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kilkenny in the 48th minute.
