SHEFFIELD, Aug. 12, 2014 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Sheffield Wednesday defeated Notts County by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night at the Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield.

Sheffield Wednesday dominated the first half thanks to goals from Maghoma ('2) and Madine ('10). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Owls further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Nuhiu in the 65th minute.
