League Cup 2014-15 : Gillingham beats Yeovil 2-1 to qualify for next round

YEOVIL, Aug. 12, 2014 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Gillingham defeated Yeovil Town by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.

Gillingham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dickenson in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gills further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by A. Morris in the 59th minute.
