STOKE, Oct. 29, 2014 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Southampton defeated Stoke City by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 2-0), in the League Cup fourth round on Wednesday night at the Britannia Stadium in Stoke.
Graziano Pellè scored dual goals
Southampton dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pellè ('6) and Long ('30). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Saints further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Pellè with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
