League Cup 2014-15 : Liverpool and Chelsea play out 1-1 draw

LIVERPOOL, Jan. 20, 2015 (AMP) — League Cup 2014-15 : Liverpool tied 1-1 with Chelsea (halftime: 0-1), in the first leg of a semifinals on Tuesday night at Anfield in Liverpool.

Chelsea players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard on penalty in the 18th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Liverpool with a saving goal from Liverpool midfielder Raheem Sterling in the 59th minute.

The second leg between Liverpool and Chelsea will be played on Tuesday January 27, 2015 (kick-off: 19:45) in London.
