Liverpool beats Leeds United to advance to League Cup semifinals

LIVERPOOL, Nov. 29, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Liverpool reached the semifinals of the League Cup with a 2-0 win against Leeds United (halftime: 0-0) on Tuesday night at Anfield in Liverpool.

Leeds United made Liverpool doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Origi ('76) and Woodburn ('81).
