Southampton beats Arsenal to advance to League Cup semifinals

LONDON, Nov. 30, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Southampton reached the semifinals of the League Cup with a 2-0 win against Arsenal (halftime: 2-0) on Wednesday night at the Emirates Stadium in London.

All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Jordy Clasie ('13) and Ryan Bertrand ('38).
