Man Utd beats West Ham to advance to League Cup semifinals

MANCHESTER, Nov. 30, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Manchester United reached the semifinals of the League Cup with a 4-1 win against West Ham (halftime: 1-1) on Wednesday night at Old Trafford.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Anthony Martial scored dual goals

Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing West Ham catch up in the 35th minute thanks to Fletcher. 1-1 at half time. The Red Devils eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Martial ('48, '62) and Ibrahimovic ('90).
