League Cup 2016-17 : Forest beats Doncaster 2-1 to qualify for next round

Aug. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Nottingham Forest defeated Doncaster Rovers by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.

Nottingham Forest dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Vaughan David in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Reds further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ward Jamie in stoppage time.
