League Cup 2016-17 : Exeter beats Brentford 1-0 in extra time to qualify for next round
Aug. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Exeter City defeated Brentford 1-0 after extra time, in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.
The score was still nil-all after the 90 minutes of regulation time and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. In the 100th minute, it was ultimately Harley Ryan who brought the Grecians to victory by scoring the winning goal.
