League Cup 2016-17 : Oldham beats Wigan Athletic 2-1 to qualify for next round

Aug. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Oldham Athletic defeated Wigan Athletic by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.

Flynn Ryan opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing Wigan Athletic catch up in the 34th minute thanks to Grigg Will. 1-1 at half time. The Latics eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Law Josh with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
