League Cup 2016-17 : Rochdale beats Chesterfield 3-1 to qualify for next round

Aug. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Rochdale defeated Chesterfield by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-1), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.

Chesterfield had started off well by taking the lead in the 30th minute with a goal by Mcginn Paul. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Dale nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Henderson Ian '47, Cannon Andy '53 and Mendez-laing Nathaniel '78).
