Aug. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Crewe Alexandra defeated Sheffield United 2-1 after extra time, in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.
Lowe Ryan scored dual goals
The score was still 1-0 for Sheffield United a minute from the end of regulation time, when an unexpected goal from Lowe Ryan allowed Crewe Alexandra to equalize and just squeeze through to overtime. In the 100th minute, it was ultimately Lowe Ryan who brought the Railwaymen to victory by scoring the winning goal.
