Aug. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Yeovil Town defeated Walsall 2-0 after extra time, in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.
The score was still nil-all after the 90 minutes of regulation time and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. The Glovers finally broke through with goals from Campbell Tahvon ('103) and Dolan Matthew ('111).
