League Cup 2016-17 : Burton beats Bury 3-2 in extra time to qualify for next round
Aug. 10, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Burton Albion defeated Bury 3-2 after extra time, in the League Cup first round on Wednesday night.
The score was still 1-1 after the 90 minutes of regulation time, after goals from Reilly Callum ('36) for Burton Albion and Pope Tom ('48) for Bury, and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. The Brewers finally broke through with goals from Beavon Stuart ('105) and Butcher Calum ('113), while Maher Niall ('120) scored for Bury.
