League Cup 2016-17 : QPR beats Swindon in shoot out to qualify for next round
Aug. 10, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : QPR defeated Swindon Town on penalties 4-2, after the match ended 2-2 in regulation time, in the League Cup first round on Wednesday night.
The score was still 2-2 at the end of the regulation game time and overtime, after goals from N Gbakoto Yeni ('58) and Washington Conor ('93) for QPR and Stewart Jordan ('72) and Brophy James ('107) for Swindon Town. QPR finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 4-2.
