Aug. 11, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Bristol Rovers defeated Cardiff City 1-0 after extra time, in the League Cup first round on Thursday night.
The score was still nil-all after the 90 minutes of regulation time and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. In the 115th minute, it was ultimately Lines Chris who brought the Pirates to victory by scoring the winning goal.
