League Cup 2016-17 : Leeds United beats Norwich City in shoot out to qualify for next round
Oct. 25, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Leeds United defeated Norwich City on penalties 3-2, after the match ended 2-2 in regulation time, in the League Cup fourth round on Tuesday night.
The score was still 2-2 at the end of the regulation game time and overtime, after goals from Pritchard Alex ('14) and Oliveira Nelson ('99) for Norwich City and Antonsson Marcus ('43) and Wood Chris ('109) for Leeds United. The Whites finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 3-2.
