Oct. 25, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Liverpool defeated Tottenham by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup fourth round on Tuesday night.
Sturridge Daniel scored dual goals
Liverpool dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Sturridge Daniel in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Reds further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Sturridge Daniel in the 64th minute.
