Oct. 26, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : West Ham defeated Chelsea by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup fourth round on Wednesday night.
West Ham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Kouyate Cheikhou in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Hammers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fernandes Edimilson in the 48th minute.
