Aug. 23, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Liverpool defeated Burton Albion by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 2-0), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night.
Sturridge Daniel scored dual goals
Liverpool dominated the first half thanks to goals from Origi Divock ('15) and Firmino Roberto ('22). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Reds further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Naylor Tom '61/own and Sturridge Daniel '78, '83).
