Aug. 23, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Crystal Palace defeated Blackpool by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night.
Crystal Palace dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dann Scott in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wickham Connor in the 47th minute.
