Aug. 23, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Everton defeated Yeovil Town by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night.

Everton dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Lennon Aaron in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Toffees further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Barkley Ross '69 and Kone Arouna '83, '90).
