Aug. 23, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Nottingham Forest defeated Millwall by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night.
Nottingham Forest dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Paterson Jamie in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Reds further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Veldwijk Lars with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
