League Cup 2016-17 : Brighton beats Oxford 4-2 to qualify for next round

Aug. 23, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Brighton & Hove Albion defeated Oxford United by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 1-1), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night.

Adekugbe Sam opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Oxford United catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Thomas Wes. 1-1 at half time. The Seagulls eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Lua Lua Kazenga ('76), Manu Elvis ('81) and Hemed Tomer ('85).
