League Cup 2016-17 : Bristol City beats Scunthorpe 2-1 in extra time to qualify for next round
Aug. 23, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Bristol City defeated Scunthorpe United 2-1 after extra time, in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night.
The score was still 1-1 after the 90 minutes of regulation time, after goals from Reid Bobby ('35) for Bristol City and Morris Josh ('60 on penalty) for Scunthorpe United, and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. In the 97th minute, it was ultimately Abraham Tammy who brought the Robins to victory by scoring the winning goal.
