Southampton beats Liverpool to reach League Cup final
LIVERPOOL, Jan. 25, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Southampton defeated Liverpool by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the second leg of a semifinals on Wednesday night at Anfield in Liverpool.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Long Shane in stoppage time.
