Man Utd loses to Hull but reaches League Cup final
HULL, Jan. 26, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Hull defeated Manchester United by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a semifinals on Thursday night.
Hull dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Huddlestone Tom in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Hull players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Niasse Omar with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
