Sep. 20, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Preston defeated Bournemouth 3-2 after extra time, in the League Cup third round on Tuesday night.
Makienok Simon scored tripple goals
The score was still 2-1 for Bournemouth five minutes from the end of regulation time, when an unexpected goal from Makienok Simon allowed Preston to equalize and just squeeze through to overtime. In the 111st minute, it was ultimately Makienok Simon who brought the Lilywhites to victory by scoring the winning goal.
